Born in 1962 in Tampa, Florida, the American competitive sailor James ‘Jim’ Brady first started racing at the age of 15 and has since won many victories sailing on many different classes of boats such as the IMS, J/24, Soling and the IOR. At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Brady finished in 2nd place in the Soling Class. For Atalanti Racing, he competed with the Team’s Mumm 36 at Key West Race Week in 1995 and 1996.
